Artist Kelly Mckernan uses liquid emulsion and other photographic process such as van dyk printing etc to combine photographic images with illustrations to create an amazing aesthetic.
- the use of photographic realism in combination with mixed media illustrations can create some beautiful surreal images, which could work amazingly on wood, and on skateboard decks.
- combining illustrations with silver gelatin prints will work nicely playing around with portrature and signature model skateboard decks etc...
plenty of room for experimenting etc.
