Refined process

Start to finish..

- take photos - after testing decide if printing them will be from either enlarged negative or acetate contact print.

- coat emulsion on wood. whole veneer needs to be sealed so it absorbs no water when it is submerged under chemicals etc. then after the image has been printed sand the back so it is back to natural wood - so doesnt affect the adhesion.

- expose images - after testing decide whether to use contact acetate prints or enlarge directly from the negative?

- harden etc as it goes through the developers with the rollei hardner and then once dried completely give it a light lacquer coat initially - to protect the image through the pressing process. then lightly sand the reverse side so it is clear from any lacquers etc - to make sure the adhesion process is perfect.

- evenly apply glue (titebond III) with a paint roller - must be evenly applied put in a press for a minimum of 24hrs, just to be 100% sure of the adhesion etc. - use non stick paper between cork and then the mould so the image stays perfectly intact.

- remove from press

-put on desk mount

-make board....
